Let's ignore this kind of chatter

Many of us have been the victims of gossip. When a previously friendly co-worker, school friend or neighbour suddenly starts treating us differently, it could be they have been listening to gossip - and the problem is, most of what is said is lies or at least a huge exaggeration. And unfortunately, these people will almost never admit they’ve heard anyone talking about us…after all, if they do, it implicates them as taking part, enabling the gossiper.

If someone says something mean, sarcastic or personal about another person, then you can be sure they have likely said nasty things to others about you. It’s what gossipers do.

My advice is, if you have a so-called friend that loves to talk about other people, tell him or her to stop. Or else reduce your time with this person.
